Start
The design process starts with getting an overview of the current market situation. Afterwards, the product should be tested and an attempt made to find potential on the basis of this. By defining the user and target groups, the appropriate design language can also be derived and the design process begins. The market analysis showed that there is currently a very large range of various travel hair dryers, especially in the low price segment. It was noticeable here that most inexpensive hair dryers do not have a clear design language and thus shapes and proportions are randomly built in. In addition, with a few exceptions, there are no hair dryers without handles. It is precisely this gap in the market that the SIMPLY DRY is intended to fill.
Konzepte
This concept consists of a hair dryer without a handle. The air inlet is fitted with an offset to the inside. A slider is used to set the different modes.
Design
Not only the exterior design must be right, but also the interior. Here you can see a rendering with all the materials and contents used to make the hairdryer work.
